Generativity was founded on this principle, also echoed in the work of Erik Erikson, a psychologist who observed that some people are propelled by the desire to give back to future generations — "generativity" — or acquiesce to stagnation.
Generativity is an online literary magazine published out of Columbus, Ohio. Though the magazine's scope focuses on readers and writers in Ohio, we believe stories connect us across state lines, party lines, genders, and generations, to spark creativity and strengthen communities, in Ohio and beyond.
