Roots and Wings
Our Spring Issue is open for fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and visual art from writers and artists ages 8 and up.
Do you have a story about what anchors you and what makes you reach upward? Perhaps a story that explores leaving the familiar — whether it's a pattern, a place, a person, or a version of yourself. Maybe a series of poems about a comforting family tradition you carry on. Or a piece of visual art that captures helping your grandmother tend her garden, or an essay about the time you watched a migration of birds float and dive as if they were one.
